After working at a public library for six years, I decided three years ago to become a Spanish teacher. While it was a good job, I missed libraries the entire time. That's just where my heart is. Happily, a high school librarian position came open at the school that I teach at. I interviewed for it Monday and got the job!
Next year I will be one of two librarians at Kickapoo. The other librarian is AWESOME! I am excited because not only do I get my dream job, and get to work with a fantastic super-woman, but I also get to work in a newly built library with a swanky office (I've never had an office before!). HUZZAH!
